This mantel was crafted with a beautiful piece of figured Black Walnut with appealing voids. I wanted to wrap this mantel to make the grain continuous while it rounded every edge. The epoxy chosen was a pearl white metallic pigment from Eye Candy Pigments that filled the open voids and created eye catching accents.
