This Bar Top for a customer in Wildwood NJ was made from a single massive slab of Black Walnut and Ocean Blue Epoxy.

I pulled an audible when doing this piece and I am very happy that I did. What you see here is actually 2 different layers of Super Clear Epoxy. The Base is an Ocean Blue Pigment from Eye Candy Pigments and the second is layer of clear. This does a few things rather than just using 1 solid color. It creates this layer of depth as you get a chance to look into the live edge inside the void and see all the details of nature. It also appears to resemble an aerial view of the Ocean perfectly as the slight haze of the clear epoxy blurs the Ocean Blue ever so slightly.

The Bar Top is the star but lets talk about the Base. What you see here is a Rolling Base with hidden casters that allow the Bar to be moved around the room. My client wanted a place to stick the bar when not in use and also be able to roll it out when he has his family over. Behind the bar, he has access to tons of shelves to stock his bar with anything he may need for his family.
